Orange Tree inspired by the design of J.H. Dearle for William Morris, taken from 'The Orchard' tapestry, produced in 1890 by Morris & Co. at their weaving looms at Merton, near Wimbledon, which had been set up in 1881.
Impressive 4' 9" x 6' 5" wall hanging tapestry which will look superb in any room, old or modern.
Woven in thick, soft hard-wearing chenille which will display the subtle colours to full effect and will blend with and complementyour other soft furnishings. As the light changes, so the tapestry takes on rich new depths and hues.
